The future of Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory has been confirmed, with a fourth season set to drop on the streaming platform before the end of the year.

Fans had hoped that the story wouldn't end without a proper resolution, as many have been following the characters of Darius, Kenji, Ben, Yaz, Sammy and Brooklynn since their debut in Camp Cretaceous.

There's no word yet on whether the show will be wrapping up with the fourth season or proceeding to a fifth, as Camp Cretaceous did, with some creatives behind the series having seemingly concluded their duties.

In any case, the broader Jurassic franchise looks to be in good health, with Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey joining Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in the upcoming blockbuster Rebirth, which is set to kick off a new era for the iconic film series.

For now, here's everything we know so far about Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4 will be released on Netflix on Thursday 20th November 2025.

The series was confirmed to be returning in June, just a couple of months after the launch of season 3, although it appears that episodes may have been in production for some time.

Both Chaos Theory and its preceding series Camp Cretaceous have enjoyed a rapid production cycle, with fans long-suspecting that episodes are produced in bulk and subsequently divided into seasons.

Lending credence to this theory is an X post by former Chaos Theory writer Nick Rodriguez, who reshared a news article formally announcing season 4, putting the word "renewed" in quotation marks.

This might well be interpreted as confirmation that Chaos Theory season 4 was always on the way, meaning it did not require a strict "renewal" in the same way as other Netflix originals that live from season-to-season.

Both Rodriguez and storyboard artist Heidi Neunhoffer describe themselves as former staff at Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, which also implies that work on the series as a whole may have concluded.

But whether it will end with season 4 or continue to five seasons, as Camp Cretaceous did, remains unclear.

It's likely that the main voice cast would return to continue the journeys of their characters, which began in preceding series Camp Cretaceous. Here's a reminder of the key players in the animated series:

  • Paul-Mikél Williams plays Darius Bowman
  • Darren Barnet as Kenji Kon
  • Sean Giambrone as Ben Pincus
  • Kausar Mohammed as Yasmina 'Yaz' Fadoula
  • Raini Rodriguez as Sammy Gutierrez
  • Kiersten Kelly as Brooklynn

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4 plot theories

It's likely that Chaos Theory season 4 will continue building up to the events of Jurassic World: Dominion, potentially wrapping up these characters' stories as the franchise moves on.

Indeed, with Jurassic World: Rebirth coming this summer to usher in a new era of dinosaur action, we have to wonder if there could be any Easter eggs pointing to what's to come in that flick, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali.

Is there a Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4 trailer?

Alas, there's no footage yet. We'll update this page when any teasers are released.
